Vintage VRROOM X-15 Pedal Batmobile car by Mattel for restoration/fun Read

You are looking at a vintage Vroom X-15 pedal car in the Batmobile version by Mattel. This was my husband's toy from childhood and has been sitting in attic/garage for 50 plus years. I used some car wash soap to lightly wash it so you can see the paint on it and hosed it off but did not scrub it. Please see pics - this is the one you get.

As you can see, there is some rust in the seat and on the bottom, the seatbelt is not complete, the screws are rusted. Wheels are also not in great shape - but great restoration project or just for a kid to run around in as is. But I have wrapped it and boxed the most economical I can. Looking to find it a fun home versus sitting in the garage.

Please note for no surprises. 1 one cotter pin broke on axle. I included 2 new cotter pins I had that might fit. There was another type cotter pin that had some ridges. 2 there are only 3 seat screws/bolts.

There's were 2 spikes washers and one flat. That's the way it has been for years.

To be complete you'll need to find another bolt washer and nut. I do have some more pics as I took apart if interested. He is close to I-75 Austin exit.
