Vintage Murray 1960's Speedway Pace Car Pedal Car

This is a vintage Murray Speedway Pace Car pedal car from the 1960s. It is a collectible item in used condition, with the brand and year being Murray, made during the 1960's.

The pedal car is designed for outdoor play and falls under the categories of Toys & Hobbies, Outdoor Toys & Structures, and Pre-1970 Pedal Cars. It is about 35" in length, 17" wide, and about 19 in height with the steering wheel. One of the front wheels falls off. I think it needs a pin to hold it on. I also noticed that there is a nail in the opening that should hold the rod to turn the front axel.

It needs to be removed and an actual pin put in once the rod is reconnected. Once that is done, the front wheels will turn. My guess is that this car was restored or partially restored. Some of the stickers are coming up at the edge. And the seat wouldn't have had a cushion on it on the original car.
