VINTAGE MIRACLE WHIRL MERRY GO ROUND OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT CAROUSEL
A RARE VINTAGE MERRY-GO-ROUND FOR "KIDS" OF ALL AGES. Yes, that's you perhaps a 60-year old or a 45-year old who wants to experience the playgrounds and parks of old before they were replaced with generic plastic playground equipment.
Anyway, this Vintage Red Merry Go Round is to be used at your own risk, just like in "the old days"! This Merry-Go-Round is believed to be manufactured by the MIRACLE RECREATION COMPANY, and that it was probably made circa 1950's to 1960's. As above, I believe my mother inherited it from a local city park and it was carefully installed, and has been at the same location since the 1970s.
Condition: Please look carefully at all the photos of the Merry-Go-Round; these pictures form part of the description. There is one slightly twisted rail which is sturdy as are all the other ones, it just slightly protrudes over the Merry-Go-Round. Obviously, the red paint is not original, as one can see underneath there are remnants of yellow and red. Please look at the the slight "waviness" of the joints of the Merry Go Round, but it appears that the welded joints are still sound.
