Vintage Flexy Racer
This is a beautifully preserved example of one of the 1950's most dangerous toys. Lay face first on the oak planks and point yourself downhill, gripping the handles that press steel against the two front wheels to slow your speed. This number came from a San Francisco estate, just imagine the kid took a spill and put this widowmaker back in the garage where it remained to this day. The rubber grips are in excellent shape which is unusual, the tires are also showing minimal use. If you're a collector this is the one for you.

The decal is bright, very little rust, the wood hasn't grayed from sitting outdoors. Compare the wheel hubs on our offering - very little rust, while others are quite far gone. We can not find the two springs that attached to the underside, but there is hope they will turn up in the garage.

There are a number of scuffs along the red rails and some white flecks of paint splatter are visible on the topside. It's visible in the photo. Apparently someone painted something nearby. These can clean off, but we leave it to you to proceed.

The original black laquer on the flat steel frame is still there. While this one is not new in the box, we all hope to look this good after so many years. The item "Vintage Flexy Racer" is in sale since Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
