Vintage c1960 Wheelmaster Roller Coaster withTrack Backyard Playground Ride-On Toy

I found this Wheelmaster Roller Coaster in the shed of a local PA. It dates to the late 1950's or early 1960's. The cart rides the track rails using the inside of the metal wheels and then the rubber tires take over once it leaves the end of the track...

I would have loved this as a kid! The owner told me his parents bought it brand new for he and his siblings as a Christmas present -- and after several seasons of use, it was retired to the shed. Tall where the cart sits.

The cart measures 26-1/2 in. The Roller Coaster does show signs of wear, weathering, and repairs.

A hairline crack remains (photo #9) where the Father pinned together a broken tire; (photos #10 & 11) show welding repairs on the ladder and lower track support bracket; and (photo #12) shows a very small rust hole on the bottom of lower track support bracket. Other than missing end-caps for the rear axle, and end-plugs for some of the tubing, I believe the Roller Coaster is pretty much complete. Please view the photos closely and ask any questions.
