VINTAGE ALL ORIGINAL JOHN DEERE 520 ERTL CHILD'S PEDAL TRACTOR WITH TRAILER
This has been my toy since I was a small child. My parents never wanted to carry it upstairs and outside so it spent my entire childhood in a carpeted/finished basement.
The last 25-30 years this tractor has simply been stored in my basement wrapped in storage blankets for protection. I think its time to either go to a collector who will appreciate OR a child who will love it like I always have. The Good: 100% ORIGINAL (10/10), original optional trailer INCLUDED and rare(10/10). Paint is fantastic, very bright and shiny, no flaking or oxidation - some scuffs and scratches but consistent with below average wear for a toy this old (7.5-8/10). There are NO broken parts, none of the plastic is flaking or broken (10/10). Hand painted "John Deere" emblem on rear of trailer is in good, not perfect condition(7/10). All the original stickers and paint are present and in good condition (8/10). Tires & wheels on tractor and trailer are in fantastic condition, wheels are shiny with very little scratching (9/10). The Bad: There is a bit of use on this tractor, some scuffs, a few scratches again consistent with below average use of this toy & age (7.5-8/10).The original stickers have begun to curl in a few places like front nose and left side of engine but very colorful and still good adhesion (8.5/10). Still good just starting to peel.
Minimal surface rust on rear inner trailer and the rear outer edge of the trailer (6.5/10) if someone wanted the trailer perfect, would be easy to do but I chose to keep in all original condition and therefore left patina. No rust on tractor anywhere (10/10)!
