Vintage 1950's Police Ball Bearing Chain Drive Radar Patrol Pedal Car Riding Toy

Vintage 1950's Police Ball Bearing Chain Drive Radar Patrol Pedal Car #W6341 Tricycle Trike Riding Toy. I believe this Patrol Car Riding Toy was manufactured by Murray, but cannot be certain (though the hub cabs appear to have an "M" on them - see pictures). This was mine as a kid and I had many wonderful hours riding it as well as my kids. Features for Police Cycle Model L-951 (can't confirm the model number since not on the unit anywhere). Dimensions: 36" L x 22" W x 20 H.

Materials: Heavy gauge auto body steel. Rear Door: Heavy gauge steel. Wheels: Full ball bearing, 8 double disk. Tires: 1-3/4" semi-pneumatic front, 1-1/8" solid rears. Driving Mechanism: Ball bearing chain drive.

Steering Mechanism: Universal joint allowing 360 degree turning. Chain: Standard bicycle roller type. Siren: ORIGINAL NOT INCLUDED (though mount is still there). Antenna: ORIGINAL NOT INCLUDED (though mount is still there and will include an old router antenna which should be able to adapted).

Finish: Body in Fathom Blue baked enamel, Tank white with red trim, Wheels red, and Silver enameled grille and door. CONDITION NOTES: Used, but in very good condition given its age. The tires seem fine along with the steering and the pedal train (could use a lube job though).

Has scuffs, scratches, a few dents, a little rust and some dirt from use. The metal bracket that holds the left side of the lid for the under seat storage area broke completely off, but the piece is there and can be welded or soldered (see pictures). The original patrol car had a fake radio antenna mounted to the left side of the seat -- while the original antenna is missing, the mount is still there, and I have included a router antenna that looks like you can cut the antenna just above the connector and can be attached to give it the original patrol car feel. The original chrome siren/bell is also missing on the right side of the seat.

The red padded seat from the original cycle is not included. The original decals are in good condition, except for the one on the back of the seat is scratched off in places a bit rusty (see pictures).
