Vintage 1940s Steel & Cast Aluminum Big Wheel Circus Trike Tricycle Tractor Seat

Rare vintage 1940s steel & cast aluminum big wheel circus trike. Frame tubing is rectangular, not round. Tractor-style seat is adjustable (remove bolt to slide to front or back). Yellow frame with blue front rim and red rear rims.

These trikes were built to last and stand up to rough use and still go strong. The steel frame and adjustable seat was done for a child - the tricycle would grow with the child over time until they advanced to a two wheeler. Structurally the tricycle is very sound. There are areas of missing paint, surface rust to various surfaces, and some deterioration to plastic and rubber parts, as pictured.

Approximate measurements: 38" overall length x 20-1/2" width x 21-3/4 height from ground to handlebars. Great piece for display or restoration.
