I have decided to move my soap box derby collection on to a new home. I have been collecting soap box derby items for almost 40 years.

These are eight of my cars. They are a good representation of the different construction styles over the years. The red car at the top of the rack display is done out of wood and sail cloth.

Others are made from solid pieces of wood, laminated wood pieces, fiberglass, and the Target car is one of the fairly modern plastic "kit style cars" The Goddard Ford "needle car" is an example of very streamlined design that actually incorporated the drivers helmet into the design of the car. These cars are in varying condition. Some have functioning steering and brakes, others do not. These would make a great theme restaurant display, an exhibit in a museum or a cool addition to a car collection.

I have a complete collection of soap box derby helmets, posters, trophies and literature. These are big and bulky. They must be picked up at my business in Youngstown Ohio in Northeastern Ohio. Jerry Dixey-Classic Automobilia-The Hot Rod Paper Company- Youngstown, Ohio. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Outdoor Toys & Structures\Pedal Cars\Pre-1970".

The seller is "gadmak" and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.
