RARE 1930's Hodges Amusement Park Hand Crank Train Ride. This is a fairly rare kiddie train ride made by Hodges.

This is a very heavy duty and durable ride that was meant for commercial amusement park use. These were typically used in the children's or kiddie section of family amusement parks. They were also used in carnival rides. Simple operation: The child sat on the engine and rotated the chain driven handles 360 around and it moved them around the track i.

Self powered amusement park ride. How can you go wrong??? This engine is in very nice original condition.

All original wheels and trucks. It comes with a home-made display stand as seen in the photos which is kinda cool. There is one stress in the aluminum housing cover as shown.

More than likely the chain assembly would need some adjustments in order to get this engine track worthy. This is a nice amusement park ride. Please see the multiple photos. You could easily display this train as is.
