They were manufactured by Radio Flyer (yes the wagon people) for Yamaha. The entire assembly (stand and dirt bike) has overall dimensions of 47 long, x 23-1/2 wide, x 30 high and the dirt bike itself has overall dimensions of 28 long, x 18-1/2 wide, x 19 high. The dirt bike is made of composite/plastic material and rests in a metal frame to hold it. The hobby horse dirt even makes an idling dirt bike engine sound when turned on by an on/off switch and revs up a little when you crank the throttle. The front wheel even turns left and right with the handlebars. The whole thing is in very good working condition especially for being 30+ years old. There are marks here and there on the composite/plastic. Motorcycle itself from use but overall in very nice condition (pictured).
The metal stand is also in good condition as well including great color. Graphics on both sides with just some normal scratches and chips here and there (pictured). The stand appears to have had some surface rust painted over on the bottom of the base tubes that sit on the floor (pictured).
The four springs also have some surface rust but function great. The battery operated engine noise maker works good as was stated above and the only issue noticed was that one of the 9-volt battery wiring connections may need future repair but is currently connected to the battery and working fine. The engine noise maker and battery are located in a removable housing just behind the forks on the of front area of the dirt bike (pictured). In the picture you will notice that only two screws are holding the housing in place but there are four holes, it only originally had two screws holding it in. Dont miss out on owning this very rare Yamaha toy.
