Vintage Garton Pedal Car Original Condition Rare US Air Force

This is my birthday present from the early 1960's. It is still in the original condition, never been repaired, repainted, or restored in any way. I played with it at my grandparents for years, then it sat in my parents basement, heated and dry until the early 1990's. I have had it with me since then, and my grandsons were the last to use it.

I really wasn't planning to get rid of it, but it takes up so much space, so I guess it's time. All steel, except the pedals, which are plastic. 40 x 17 x 19 (with windshield down).

Yes, there is surface rust, but it is solid everywhere. There are a few small dimples here and there (I used it a lot, I loved this thing).

You can see the 2 rear "bumpers" are bent, and the back end on the left side is dented in a little. The seat is also dented and bent. The 2 white marks on the seat are remnants of duct tape adhesive. I put the tape there so my grandson would not cut himself on the metal.

If you look close, you can see the metal has broken on the edge, less than 3/4 long. The'windshield' goes up and down.

There is no glass, never was, just a frame. Tires are still round, no flat spots. The front wheels spin so freely, you would almost think I just lubricated them.

The pedal mechanism still works perfectly. The left rear wheel is the drive wheel. I couldn't really show the entire car with just 12 pictures. Contact me and I will send as many additional pics as you like. Package must be signed for upon receipt.
