Pedal Car Gendron Vintage Antique One-Off Reproduction? Believe this is a one-off reproduction, or possibly a restoration, constructed by William Whitt Ashby, where included paperwork evinces it was shown at HB Concours d' Elegance automotive event in Huntington Beach, California. Listed at that show as: "1920s - 30s" - "Antique Pedal Car".
Where William Whitt Ashby worked at Douglas Aircraft Company, Ford Motor Company, North American Aviation on Gemini Spacecraft, etc. We are still searching for information that Mr.Ashby actually constructed or restored this pedal car. Defects include, yet may not be limited to: Broken and missing wing on the hood ornament; main plastic windshield missing; horn/ornament on left side of cowling missing; various small dings on otherwise very nice paint finish. Please use pictures to discern what this gem is. If anyone can forward information as to how to detect this car as repro or restoration, would be greatly appreciated.
