1950's BMC Special 8 Racer Pedal Car- vintage pedal car- true barn find ORIGINAL

You are checking out a vintage 1950's era BMC Special 8 racer pedal car. This came out of a barn in Northern MN, near Silver Bay where it lay for over 25 years as best remembered by the farm owners.

I have done nothing to it, but wipe the dust off it with a dry towel. It still pedals, steers and rolls. I really dont know much about it? What a great restoration project or will even look great in its current condition. Over all it is seems to be in pretty good condition, but not seeing one like this before I wouldnt know.

Looks like that side bar sticking out was maybe a brake? Obvious scratches, rust and wear.

There is a dent in the back and one wheel has a crack as seen in the last two pictures. I took the max amount of pictures so please check them ALL out again!
